Volunteer Program

The Armonía Volunteer Program was created thanks to the support and financing of SEO / BirdLife (www.seo.org) . It’s main objective is to achieve greater involvement of professionals, members of national and foreign organizations in Armonía’s bird conservation programs and projects.

The Volunteer Program contributes to achieving Armonía’s objectives to obtain more and better conservation actions. Within the national framework, Armonía intends to train young students and professionals who may be interested in ornithological, scientific, management, development issues and implementation of projects, giving a hand to the theses, and other practices.

Armonía contributes to the conservation of biodiversity in Bolivia by training both conservation leaders within the Armonía organization and in Biolivia’s communities.

Armonía local volunteers currently receive training and perform tasks in field and laboratory assistance, monitoring, education and environmental awareness, how to safely observe birds, administer first aid, perform administrative tasks and more.

So far nearly a dozen foreign volunteers have worked with Armonía on diverse subjects, especially science.

If you want to become a volunteer of Armonía and support the conservation of birds in Bolivia, we ask you please complete our “Volunteer Form”.
